Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born April 16, 1997 in Miami Florida. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is a half-Spanish and female who is half English. The father of her was Argentine with Scottish as well as English roots. Her mother is Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's prior marriage. The family was based in Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria neighborhood of London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatizing and that she didn't learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she changed schools from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's productions. She dropped out of high school at the age of 16 in order to pursue her acting career. Taylor-Joy is a child actor that knew she was going to become one. She realized her dream after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a position as a model.
