Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British musician and a singer. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. The parents of his son are Des Styles and Anne Cox. His birth date was the 1st of February, 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, which is where he formed his own band, composed of three classmates, which he named the White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they won. He has always been keen on music, in spite of the fact that he had a passion for it, he was thinking about becoming a lawyer and physical therapist. He was employed in a local bakery part-time to help their family in financial matters. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition in which he performed Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. For that reason his band had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury part of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles become part of the group One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. The creation of the group took place in the year 2010, and the five members were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The group sang the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart throughout the competition. It helped them to become one of the frontrunners. They were however in third place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell didn't win the contest. However Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million dollars contract with Syco.
